"ARGGHHHH!!!", yelled dion as he juggles between whether to buy the chocolate cheesecake or the strawberry one.

"So... you are saying that you got corrective work order", carol pauses and reaches for a dessert spoon. "because.. you were jay walking in orchard?", she offers the spoon. "and while you were in your part-time Bangladesh job...".

She tilts her head and cocks it to the side,
"you saw DENISE?", her question have somehow came out as a deafening screech instead of a gentle inquiry. (well its not her fault, she was unable to hold her excitement)
"why she nv tell me.." thought the oldest member quietly trying to hide the fact that she was hurt that densie did not tell her at all.

Dion caught off guard, struggles to find an answer...
"....well err (swallows saliva)... ya..", the so-called sentence he managed to form.
"sheee... was with her ANG MO BOYFRIE..END", he spat out between devouring his creamy fragrant strawberry cheesecake.

Ian read his mind, it was... elevator music (a genetic ability from his vampire family).

The eyes of the members lit up with curiosity at once as they automatically leaned forward towards the tie wearing counselor, not wanting to miss a word of gossip Dion might leak.

"woahh..why everyone staring at me???", he frantically searches the faces of the members.
"got something on my face is itttt???", he spurt out.

Ian rolls his eyes, carol ignores him, sinni responds,
"No la.. but you sure anotttt??", deliberately stretching the "not" in her sentence.
"Of course!! they were holding hands~",
"so what did the ang mo look like???", spoke ian
"very hairy", dion exclaims in almost child-like innocence

The members broke into an infectious laughter, instantly brightening the dead atmosphere of the cafe.

Even carol was compelled to laugh, momentarily forgetting the silent betrayal of denise.
